In 2007 Skin Health provided sunscreens, SunSmart UV Alert Posters, and Skin Cancer Awareness Posters to over 150 different clubs and organizations. These ranged from schools, community festivals and charities, to churches, playgroups, equestrian clubs and many more! Just some of our recent event/organization sponsorships have been:
· Relay for Life – a team event that raises funds for cancer research, education and support programs. Skin Health donated pump packs and tubes of sunscreen to the event for participants, volunteers and spectators.
· The Leukaemia Foundation – The Leukaemia Foundation held an event ‘Leg it for Leukaemia’ to provide vital funds to support patients who have fought or are fighting leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or other blood cancers, and their carers. Skin Health donated pump packs of sunscreen for participants, volunteers and spectators to use on the day as they ‘legged it’ around Albert Park!
· Go for your life Lap the Lakes’ Wellington Business & Community Challenge – aims to increase fitness levels, reduce stress, improve concentration and promote a team environment in the work place and the community. In 2007, Skin Health donated pump packs of sunscreen to the event so participants and spectators were covered! · Victoria Police – recently launched their ‘Summer Safety Campaign’, to promote safety over summer, at our beaches, resorts, pools and everywhere people go to enjoy the warmer weather. To encourage people to stay safe in the sun, Skin Health donated ‘traveller’ tubes of SPF 30+ sunscreen to Victoria Police, along with some of our 110ml tubes. · Uniting Church Australia – Held a state wide camp for high school students to encourage young people to get outside and have fun in a safe, protected environment. To facilitate this, Skin Health contributed to the camp being SunSmart by providing our ‘traveller’ tubes of SPF 30+ sunscreen.

· City of Cockburn Poverty Week Event – this is a financial counseling service that held an event to promote health issues in the community. Skin Health provided over 100 of our 35ml sunscreens so people who could not normally afford these items were able to access them.

· Apex Club Dowerin-Goomalling – held a family fun day, with community information sessions, youth activities, stalls and community raffles. This was an outdoor event that raised money for the local community, and Skin Health donated pump packs of sunscreen to ensure everyone was well protected on the day.
· Anglicare Victoria – is a care and social justice agency. Anglicare run the Lazarus Centre, which provides support for homeless people in the CBD of Melbourne, through access to showers, laundry, clothing, and daily breakfast. Skin Health donated sunscreens to the Lazarus Centre Christmas Party.

Skin Health provided the Great Strides event with sunscreens for participants, volunteers and spectators to use on the day.
Leukaemia Foundation:“….Thanks so much for providing sunscreen for the ‘Leg it for the Leukaemia Foundation’. It was a very successful day with 500 people in attendance raising close to $10K. It was very warm so the sunscreen was essential – Thank you!”
Gippsland ‘Go for your life Lap the Lakes’ Wellington Business and Community Challenge:“….On behalf of the ‘Lap the Lakes’ Committee I would like to thank you for being part of this fantastic community event, without your generous support the event would not have been the success that it was.”
